- Under her visionary and dynamic leadership, the Doon International School, Dehradun which she founded in 1993, has been consistently ranked the No. 1. CBSE School in the state of Uttarakhand.
- She was conferred with the award for ‘Distinguished Services in the field of Education’ by the Honourable Chief Minister of New Delhi, Mrs. Sheila Dixit in the year 2001.
- She was also awarded the ‘Distinguished Educationist Award’ for providing Quality Education in the Uttarakhand State by the Honourable Governor of Uttarakhand, Sardar Surjit Singh Barnala in the year 2003.
- She has been conferred with the ‘Punjab Ratan’ Award by the Honourable Governor of Haryana, his Excellency Dr. A.K. Kidwai at the All India Conference of Intellectuals for her achievements and rare accomplishments in September 2007.
